Well here it is the early morning of the race. Most people are sleeping in because they don't have to work today. But oh no, not me. Not one ever to sleep in I had to find something creative to do this holiday morning.
And I find it a little odd to call this thing a race, okay. Let's just be honest. I won't be running at all. And the one image I've kept to keep me going is... Indianapolis Motor Speedway is 2.5 miles around. So essentially I will be walking IMS 1.25 times (my math's not the greatest so don't grade me on that!). The funny thing is I will walking in about an hour and a half what would take race car driver 30 seconds to drive.... ahhh, so continue with... this is not a race! :)
I'm more excited just to come back and say that I did it. And I feel a little behind the curve ball because people are coming out of the woodworks to talk about their 5k's that they've participated in. And now I'll have my story...
