What About You Wednesday...

I promise I just randomly pulled this question out of the stack! And the question that came up was: "Which three political issues are the most important to you?"

Now before you answer that you may want to read a recent article that my friend, Lana, suggested: Voting as a Christian in the Upcoming Elections

And while I do agree and appreciate the article I don't think I've let it set in just enough to change any of my top 3. But Mr. Blomberg makes some interesting points that I have not thought about before. Hey, I'm willing to take any suggestions on how to vote as a Christian in our extreme corrupted and hard-to-believe politicians (oops, was that my adoring cynicism coming forth?!)

eeeek! I'm so not a political person. I know - that's bad!!! But if I can just inject a little of my own thoughts before I'm judged too harshly... I just don't get it. I just don't understand why every politician eventually comes out a liar. I don't necessarily think that they want to be liars or start out as liars (although some do!), but because they are weak and want to be popular they eventually turn that direction. Whatever issues they stand for now will be put to the test down the road and more often than not they change their stance. So how can we vote simply on issues and platforms alone. We can't. But then that leaves the option of not voting at all, and I don't agree with that either.
So, having said all that... I don't know what the answer is. Good thing this is my blog.... he he he!! :)

So having said that... my 3 are:
1) abortion issue
2) world relations
3) national economy
