Tag, I'm it...

I've been tagged by my sweet friend Nancy
I love her humor, her sincerity and her amazing photo, scrapping and designing skills.

The purpose of this tag is to document 6 (un)interesting things about yourself.

This is tough.

1. If I was to wildly abandon my life and pursue the impossible dream it would be to sing on Broadway.

2. I think and talk in movie quotes ("I'm not high maintenance. I just want it the way that I want it." - When Harry Met Sally)
By the way... the below video almost clearly defines what it looks like when my husband and I order a meal. He's a number and I'm a long sequence of high maintenance details. He loves me.

3. I'm actually kind of shy and rather an introvert. I have to force myself to put myself out there... takes me WAY out of my comfort zone. So much so I need a passport.

4. I'm a total gadget girl and geek. I don't care anything about flowers (although nice sometimes), jewelry (except maybe a charm for my James Avery bracelet) or chocolate (only occasionally) - No, ME.... I love gadgets and hardware and software and an upgraded computer!!

5. I have a very specific ice to liquid ratio in my beverages.

6. I am beyond annoyed that I've been going to the same Starbucks a couple times a week for over a year and the same people working there STILL don't know my drink order!!! My 5 year old daughter can now quote my drink order and yet they still look at me like they've never seen me before. And yet I always smile and always TIP! ggrrrr.....

Whew... well I feel better after that little therapy session. And I know YOU feel better after having learned more about me.

And if you're wondering... it's a tall skinny vanilla latte... seriously - how hard is that to remember??

The key to the Starbucks thing is to have an order that makes their eyebrows raise. Mine? Vente Cappuccino with an Extra Shot. It's the extra shot of espresso that gets them every time. They look at me like, "You're going to drink that?" or even make comments along the lines of me taking caffeine very seriously. Point being: They Remember!!!

LOL!

Can you believe I have never seen When Harry Met Sally? I'll correct that this week! Going to the video store is painful these days so any other must sees you could recommend, I'd appreciate!

Anyway, I received a Fabulous blog award that I've passed onto you. Check out my latest post for the details!

Have a great week, Sue! So good to see you in the scrapping/blogging world more... does that mean things are going better at work?

a very specific ice to liquid ratio? you crack me up. good one on the harry met sally video! next time you go into starbucks order something else - i bet they give you a tall skinny vanilla latte! (drones) if my husband bought me an expensive piece of jewelery, i would probably make him return it and get me a camera lens!

beth - yes, I've been told that the reason they don't remember my drink is because it's "too ordinary". whatever. still annoys me. the girl who sits behind me at work goes to the same Starbucks and when she walks in they know her name and everything. HER NAME!!! They can't even remember my name even though I tell it to them every time! Let me guess.... it's too ordinary?Tomorrow I'm going to order for Audrey Hepburn and see if they remember me then! Bitter, party of one.

Christine - I'm sorry. I don't know anyone who hasn't seen WHMS? :) How is that possible?! :) Not the cleanest of movies, but tons of great one liners!
"Call off the dogs the hunt is over!"

Nancy - my kindred spirit. and don't laugh at my ice to liquid ratio. :P he he!

LOL'ing to number 2 and the video.
I'm pretty shy myself. I get that.
I would much rather have an external hard drive than some stinking flowers. Electronics are the way to my heart too.
Loved your answers.
I came via Nancy's tag. Hope you don't mind!
