Dear friends and family,
We are excited today to share with you that our family has been called to serve in Vancouver, Canada, this summer. Although many speak of the beauty this city beholds, truth of the matter is, it remains one of the largest spiritually untouched cities in North America. We have the exciting opportunity to partner with The Point Community Church in the Vancouver area, ministering to and serving on one of the college campuses. Even Brooke will be among the excitement of serving for the Lord!
When: July 6-13
Where: The Point Community Church – Vancouver, British Columbia
Of course, the expense for a trip of this magnitude is not without it challenges. We prayerfully ask you to consider how you can support us in this opportunity to be the hands and feet of Christ in Canada.
Additionally, we have started a blog – www.breakourlives.blogspot.com – where we intend to keep you posted on the journey leading up to the trip, the happenings of activity during the trip, and the follow up afterwards. “Break Our Lives” comes from the idea that we want to be broken before the Lord. We ask for our lives to reflect the broken nature of being released from material bondage, emotional bondage, etc. in order to be released in to the freedom of Christ. Would you please partner with us in the journey?
Support comes in other ways as well. The primary way is through prayer. Above all else, please commit to pray with and for us.
